Using razors to give your legs a smooth look and feel is among the popular methods you can choose. It’s because shaving with a razor gives you a close shave. And also, it is a fast and easy way to get rid of hair on your legs.
But are you afraid of razors as you have once experienced irritating razor burns or ingrown hair?
There are several alternative ways to get your legs smooth. So, how do you shave your legs without a razor?
From my experience, waxing is one of the most methods for removing hair from your body, especially your legs.
Here are some reasons for deciding to wax your legs:
● It’s reasonably priced, and you can have it done by a specialist or do it yourself. There are DIY wax strips available everywhere.
● Waxing may be convenient and offers a decent shave in a short time.
● It clears away more hair than a razor and lasts longer than shaving.
● As you will get a much smoother and cleaner result than shaving, you don’t have to shave every single day.

How To Shave Your Legs At Home Without A Razor?
Buy a waxing kit:
You can find waxing kits in a grocery store or pharmacy or buy online on Amazon. Most of the standard kits are similar, including wax, waxing strips, and a stick to spread the wax all over your skin. Compare the kits and make the best decision on which one you want to buy.

Prepare your skin:
It is necessary to remove dead skin cells from the skin surface before you wax so that you can achieve the best results.
It is easier for you to shave your legs when the hair is just long enough. So make sure that it could be about one-fourth inch to half an inch long.
It will be worse if you try to pull hair from the damaged area. So there should not be any cut, scrape, irritation, or sunburn on your legs.
Step-by-step Guide on How to Wax Your Legs
Find out the direction of hair growth and apply wax evenly to your skin in that direction:
● Use the wooden stick in your waxing kit to apply the wax.
● Check the direction in which your hair is growing.
● Apply enough wax to cover your hair but not too much.
Press down the waxing strip :
Make sure you press down firmly, but gently. You should put the strip on in the direction of your hair growth. Rub your hand over the strip to make the strip grip the hair. Leave an extra bit of strip not touching any of your hair at the end, which serves as a handle, and you’ll find it easier to pull off.
Pull the strip off:
You need to pull the strip off in the opposite direction of hair growth. If you apply the wax in a downward motion, then remove the waxing strip in an upward movement. Use your leftover piece as a grip and remove it fast. Hold the skin taut with your other hand while you pull the strip off.
Repeat the above steps over the rest of your legs
You’ll have to repeat the process anywhere you want to wax. When you get the hang of it, the whole process will become easier and faster.
Some Notes For Better Waxing
Waxing will take about an hour or two. Don’t try to wax your legs as quickly as possible just because you are rushed for work or class. The waxing process may be a little painful, so prepare mentally. It’s not agonizing, but you should be ready to feel some mild discomfort. Provided that you can stand minor pain, it’s a great option for shaving your legs.
